Re: My new purcahse

Oh well....I knew you were Welsh by your name, but didn't know you lived in Barry... I was in a rush to buy one really, within a price range. I needed it to be able to travel to look after my mam. After she passed I intended to get rid of it as not having one for 18 years I didn't think I'd miss it,...

Well I bought a lovely one from Evans Halshaw in Cardiff in 1992, Fiesta 1.4 Ghia. Never had any trouble with it...

Re: My new purcahse

I really hope it is a good one this time. The last car I bought from a dealer in Barry, about 5 months ago , had a new clutch put on it before I bought it and his mechanic did something wrong, damaged the layshaft bearing or put the wrong oil in gearbox, according to a garage near me - because three...

My new purcahse

I just bought my new car and my first automatic.... I haven't driven an automatic since 1991 when I went to California for a 3-week holiday. I drove across three states and four thousand miles then, and seriously, when I got home to Gatwick and picked up my car I stalled it three times because I for...

Re: Indiana Jones Collection DVD to Blu-Ray Custom

Did anyone ever do this for you as I cannot find the conversions on the site. It's my design so I went ahead and did two covers, one for a 15mm spine and one for a 25mm spine. I've uploaded them both on the site, see Pip's post below for the links. Sorry it's been so long, I've not been on the site ...

999,999 bottles of beer on the wall,
999,999 bottles of beer on the wall,
but if one beer bottle should accidentally fall,
there'll be 999,998 bottles of beer on the wall.

(Still not there......)

Re: Mars

Ahaaa, I did this a long time ago, in the early to mid 90's I think. I still have the A4 printed certificate somewhere in my cupboard upstairs. Looks like my name will be on Mars in Stereo eventually. At that time I also sent my mother's, father's (both gone now), brother's and sister's names as wel...

What I love about the second clip is the person who tries to tell the guy he's in mortal danger by saying 'Yoohoo'.

Re: Star Wars VII The Force Awakens (2015)

I remember going to the Parc and Dare pictures (cinema) in 1977 to see a film called Star Wars, those were the days when it was cheap and the film was on twice with a 'short' in between where once you paid you stayed if you wanted. I went in for the first playing and once I saw the opening credits a...

Re: AVATAR Wasn't A Fluke

I hope I live long enough to see them..... :O I really enjoy the first one and watch it now and again. However, I do agree with his opinion, and hope it is true when he said regarding the 3D boom that it seems to be dying off, I hate 3D with a vengeance as I have always thought it a stupid fad and a...
