Hello guys'n'gals.

Grinch was so kind to introduce me to this site, so here I am. As the subject says, I'm from Denmark, I do a little coverdesigning when time allows it. I promised Grinch that I'll translate my covers for him, and since you guys welcomed the "Square cases", I might aswell upload the translations here.

My prefered cover size is the Square Cases (3380px*1400px @ 300dpi).

Hi and welcome to the new uncovered, i hope you will enjoy it here and anything i can do to help please just give me a shout. We would be very priverlged for you to post your covers here and i look forward to seeing them, i love these new square case size and really hope they take off. We hope to be fully open soon as we just have one section left to move. It can be a bit quiet around here at times as we are only a small site but we hope to change this and get people involved in all the sections. I have been thinking of introducing a section for non english covers but at the moment i'm not to sure if it would be of benefit to our member base, i do plan on having a poll as soon as the site is offically open to ask for members opinions. anyway i have rattled on for long enough and imagine you have fallen asleep by now , lol.

A small site isn't the same as a bad site. At any time I would rather have 25 active users than 200 inactive. I don't think that an international section would be an attraction. i.e. the danish covers would only appeal to a very small number of users, while english is a main language and much more useable for all parts. Ressources and helpful people are on the other hand very important to a site as this, imho. I guess the key is to find a balance between a regular user, who becomes a member to get covers, and the designers, who are here to show their designs/find inspiration/get help/get ressources and so on.

Anywho, long story short, glad to be here, and thanks for the welcomes.

yes i do agree with you totally there, our aim here at uncovered has always been to provide a fun, friendly, helpful site that people enjoy and find useful, we are always looking for ways to improve which is why we try to encourage suggestions and i try to put some ideas out to members to get there general opinions on whats good and whats not, we have some really special people here and i'm always willing to help where i can, i must admit i do like to provide things to the minority as well as the more main stream user, at the end of the day here its all about what our members like and want, which we will always try to provide.
