Show Us Your Ride

This is mine . . . 750CC liquid cooled with shaft drive and electronic fuel injection to make it go and anti-lock brakes to make it stop. I've read it will do 180kph but I'll never know.

The definition of a boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into.

I have 2 boats, nothing exciting but if you'll post yours, I'll post mine. A ride doesn't have to have wheels, it just has to be a ride.

why not vincent....

there are quite a few zodiacs for affordable prices, cheap in maintenance, and fun to ride.

my boat is a maxum with open hull, an oldie but still runs fine, but i am thinking bout conversing it to lpg, as fuel costs get way outta hand here

I could get something for day trips but what I really want is something I can take out for a couple weeks. And with a family of 5 that means it's got to be fairly big. Bit out of my price range for now.

mine is smaller, but also sterndrive, and open hull,
mostly used for waterskiing and tubing, but once i had a parachute behind it, wasn't a big succes tho
mine is a bit older than your bayliner, overhere in the netherlands, maxum is cheaper than bayliner.
Bayliner is a really expensive boat to buy here, dunno why, but maxum just has better deal
3.6 v6 sterndrive, actully we own it among three friends, so we have three capatains....

imagine that, and that goes remarkable well, no disputes whatsoever.
and we have it on trailer, cause we all three do n ot live besides the water, your dock makes me bit jealous.....
photo's are coming but i need to go party now...

it's carnaval you know.... ;-)

We already know we like being out on the water for awhile. We can do a week at a time with my parents on there smaller 28 footer if we swap out people. Only sleeps 4 comfortably. I would really like to have an American Tug. Those are really nice.

I looked them up. I see why you haven't bought one yet. Here in Canada it would cost about $2,000 just to fill the gas tank.

lol, when we go out for a weekend on the water, with the maxum, we spend around 300 euro's on petrol

we need to mix in a lead substitute as wel cause otherwise the valves rattle

and at 1.65euro a liter, feul is expensive here,
we dont measure in gallons, but in liters
1.65 euro is 2.27 usd :Unpleased :Unpleased

We measure in liters too, Tazz. Our fuel is not as expensive though around $1.30 CDN per liter which is about $1.17 USD. My Bayliner has a 100 liter fuel tank.

Hey that sure brings back memories. My father traded his gas hog '62 Chrysler Saratoga in for 2 bugs, one was a '65 and the other a '64 I think. I got the older one and drove it until about 1970.
