I've just ordered a Micca EP600 G2 media player. Does anyone else have one of these gizmos?

Never heard of it but it looks good. I've got a WD TV Live box. I like it.

I was reading the reviews on this thing, but i opted for a raspberry pi, think that has more future than a micco,
just my humble opinion tho, cause that micca is also one hell of a player,
but i am more of a tweaker, if you like a player that is good right out of the box, then this is deffo a good choice

I went with this one for 2 main reasons . . . it will play BD and DVD iso files and supports 3D. I have a 3D TV but no 3D player at the moment.

I've never heard of a raspberry pi (except the pie kind). It looks like a pretty interesting gizmo too.

the paspberry, is a linux based player, qwuite cheap, and very tweakable, there are loads and loads of different mods for it, and hey i love to tinker, mechanical and digital, i can fix anything..

Well I guess I'm not getting one now. The supplier has told me they can't get them anymore and has cancelled my order. I see too that Micca has removed them from their web site.

I am now looking at a Mede8er MED800X3D. Does anyone have one of these?

Nope never heard of that one either. Think I'll stick with my Western Digital.

mede8er is quite a good mediaplayer, also very fast with new firmware, big community, whom are very helpfull
but imho raspberry, is trhe thing for you, you can get it cheapo here
