Films from long ago

Another great thing about this site (and there are many) is the fact that some of these super artist post beautiful works of art from older films, films from a few decades ago that I realized I had forgotten all about. It inspires me to reach out and find these films to ad to my ever growing collection and when I do I know I'll always have a great cover to go with it! Keep up the superb work everyone and thanks for (at times) a much needed trip down memory lane of the movies of years past.

Well said Tim, some of those folks are very creative too, the art for many older films especially ones more than 20 years or so is of inferior size and quality compared to resources available for films of today, making it quite a bit more of a challenge to complete a high quality work.

I second that, Tim. It's always nice to see covers for old films, especially the classic ones & cult favorites. Too many artists focus on the newest & hottest titles & leave the rest to languish. Many times I've had to resort to other sites to find the more obscure titles that I occasionally want a cover for, but don't have the time or inclination to do for myself. Unfortunately, those other sites rarely have the quality we expect here, so it's a welcome sight to see them show up here.
