The mother-in-law and I argued all the way from her house to mine, so she just sat in the car and refused to come in for dinner.
After the wife went out to calm things down, she said, "She's agreed to come in. I had to butter her up a bit, though."
"That's good," I shouted, "I was wondering how the fat cow would fit through the door."
