So when I go to upload stuff, it only gives me limited options, such as .jpg, .png and .gif I think? I have some images that are .jpeg and the upload system won't accept this. Also this limited resolution needs fixing, I have images much bigger than 5000px and I don't want to resize them. can the limit be changed to like 12,000px?

5000px is max due to the server not being able to create thumbs or previews for larger images so that cannot be changed.

No reason not to rename jpeg's to jpg's it has nothing to do with file structure and jpg is the more universally accepted extension.

The option is to RAR large images and post that, then make a smaller preview for it and add it as a custom preview, jpg's only please on previews.
