Episode 1 aired last week, it was pretty good, well done fight scene choreography so far anyway, the story and characters seems at least interesting for now, the second episode airs tonight here in the states.

Good job I've a VPN as the vids are geographically restricted (idiot AMC as it is available in the UK 24hrs later on Amazon Prime).

Watched the first episode today (Go KODI Go!), it looks promising.

Daniel Wu believes Into The Badlands has “five or six” seasons in its story tank, per Digital Spy:

“If this show’s successful, it can go for five or six years…and the amount of fighting that we’re doing is very over the top – even in movies, I don’t think people do this much fighting.

With the martial arts series already tipped for renewal, Wu says Season 2 could see a supersized order of 10 episodes:

“It’s not a show where we could do 20-30 episodes, because that’s a crazy amount of fighting – if it was a network show on 20-30 episodes a season, that would be impossible.

So I think what we’re focusing on for next season is 10 episodes, and I think that’s a good number.”
