Max McGrath moves to a new town with his mother and then learns at his new school that most of the town people know more about his father than his mother has ever shared with him. While trying to find out about his father's work harnessing a special type of energy, Max discovers a techno-organic alien called Steel and that his own body can generate the energy. He must physically bond with Steel though to control it. As Max and Steel explore incredible new powers and their friendship, an alien threat emerges. Only the superhero Max Steel can save humanity.
