I remember seeing the trailer a while back and thinking that the concept reminded me of the Night Watch and Day Watch films & series of books (luv the books & have some autographed hard backs of most of them).
But lookin at the trailer I thought it looked too teenagey in the style of the Twilight movies. I do like the concept but not sure on the presentation. How does the movie come across?

I had high hopes for it but sadly I did not like it, the story and plot lines were very weak, so I found it both dull and confusing. It reminded me more of a fragmented collection of scenes tossed together without any real thought, at times in fact it made no sense at all to me why they even did some of the things they did. To me this film was the epitome of cliches and predictability it's only saving grace is the action and effects but they are strewn about in the awkward storyline in such a way it seems as to keep us from noticing the main fact--which is the actual story is going nowhere. Sad really, as this film is filled with many subplots, foreshadowings and other character developments with excellent potential--an yet the director completely fails to explore, explain or resolve any of it, then in the ultimate WTF it terminates with a very awkward ending.

Rating

I think that is being generous, truth is I would like to get back the 130 minutes of my life I wasted watching this.
