This movie is coming out June 14 on DVD/Blu-ray. It might be good, but I probably won’t bother.

Eddie the Eagle (2016)

The story of Eddie Edwards, the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Eddie Edwards has a deep passion for ski jumping, and he hopes that enthusiasm will take him all the way to an Olympic win. As the first person from Great Britain to compete in this event, there's a lot of pressure on him, but he also has a can-do attitude, and he is determined not to let any obstacles stand in his way. He enlists the aid of Bronson Peary to be his coach, and the whole country starts to get excited about his Olympic bid. By the time he competes, he even has a new nickname: Eddie the Eagle.

Genre – Comedy, Drama
Starring – Taron Egerton, Hugh Jackman, Tom Costello

Looks pretty boring to me, no extreme violence, no rivers of blood, no senseless killing, what kind of movie is this anyway...

:LOL

Exactly! I guess the mere presence of Hugh Jackman is supposed to send the potential audience into a swoon & have them pounding at the theater doors. I think anyone who thinks this is worth watching would probably better enjoy their time pounding sand.

I think it looks pretty good but then I usually like this sort of underdog story. :)
