Posted: Mon Jul 25, 2016 5:39 pmI haven’t seen any of the “Purge” movies and I doubt I’ll be seeing this one also, although I’m being told that it’s quite good. It’s now playing in theaters and a DVD release date is estimated for October 2016.
The Purge: Election Year (2016)
Two years has past since we saw Leo Barnes survive the last Purge night. He's back, and is in charge of protecting Senator Charlie Roan as the head of her security team. His main focus is to protect her during her presidential campaign during the most criminal night of the year when everyone is a target. When their safety is compromised, they are forced out onto the streets with nowhere to hide. Leo must find a way to keep them both alive until the twenty-four hour period is over, or they will both fall prey to the masses.
