The first season of Lucifer was released today on DVD/Blu-ray. I really liked that series and very excited that it was renewed for a second second!

Lucifer is an American fantasy police procedural comedy-drama television series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016. It features a character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg taken from the comic book series The Sandman, which later became the protagonist of the spin-off comic book series Lucifer written by Mike Carey, both published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. In April 2016, Fox renewed the series for a second season, set to premiere on September 19, 2016.

Series synopsis ~

Lucifer Morningstar has grown tired of the dull responsibilities that come with commanding the fiery depths of the underworld. Abandoning his throne as the ruler of Hell, he takes up residence in Los Angeles, where he opens a nightclub called Lux and seeks to find happiness in the simple pleasures of human life. Eventually signing on with the Los Angeles Police Department as a consultant, he uses his wicked wit and supernatural abilities to aid the LAPD in apprehending criminals of all sorts.
