Cell is coming out next week September 27 on DVD/Blu-ray. It’s not my kind of movie but I “might” watch it because 2 of my favorite actors are part of the cast - Monsieur Cusack and dear old Sammy! But then again, it didn’t do well at the Box Office and rating is poor… and it’s classified as a Horror…

Cell (2016)

A unique take on the zombie genre, a strange signal broadcast through the cellular phone network send everyone it touches into a perpetual state of rage. Follows a struggling artist as he bands together with others on an arduous journey to find and protect his son. Travelling from Boston north into New England, they discover strange secrets about the "Phoners" and their behavior. The quest is fraught with danger, as they deal with threats from unaffected bandits and the "Phoners" alike.

I'll have to get this one simply because John Cusack is in it & my wife goes absolutely ga-ga for John Cusack. Samuel L Jackson is always a plus, but Stacy Keach is strictly C grade & makes me wonder why he's even in this. Still, I'll be picking it up on DVD. I may even have to watch it, with the wife.
