I was just flicking through These amazing collection covers by this artist on the site and i saw a bambi one with a slip cover look design.

and i was thinking what if we could make these on here. some times when you buy a movie they do the slip bits that go on the case. or even fullsize slip covers

maybe start doing the animated ones or the horror collection ones? how could you print and fold the cover to make it slip on?

anyway here is the cover http://uncovered.name/coverart/displayi ... play_media

without seeming like im spamming i know of a print software called (UnderCover10) but they dont have slip cover design options just covers

And what is the point of these? Don't they get dirty without the plastic like the covers? I don't get it, lol

Dude who has a whole collection done like this has plastic wraps on them all, he has all my Criterion Covers and most of the rest of my covers.

It's a massive collection he used to post images/videos of the individual covers on instagram all the time.

is there any of the slip cases available for download on the site with printing instructions or is this a personal thing that alot of people do by themselves. some people are not very creative but have many ideas and thoughts on what they wish was possible. if there is any help anyone could give i know id appriciate that. but i understand close communities and people like to eat at there own dinner tables im just asking for a bone not to steal the plate even tho people have bounties of good material they have. even if this site done a premium version of this and people had to donate a specific amount or something to help with time of people. i just think there is alot of really nice covers on here and i dont see any slip case websites. only the few elite know how to make that possible and for the community i think it would be nice as we all have the same passion. i havent done much contribution wise here because im not very artistic but if you do need anything i did get some really nice posters. and anyone is more than welcome to ask for a request as i dont wanna flood the site with things they dont want. i like 90s movies myself, edward scissorhands, stand by me ect... well thats an 80s but them sort of movies,,, forrest gump and that. im willing to really put myself out for anyone who is willing to do the same, anyway just inbox and ill get the poster uploaded. or png logo ect.

He does them himself in some graphics program.

Not very many do it, I have never seen a site host them.

A few have tried it in years past but they took them down shortly as there are just so few who want them.

You can find videos on youtube showing how to do it.

He's very talented I found a slipcover template in .ai format you can rename it to pdf or export it in photoshop. but then adding the art would obviously be a manual job. Be nice if there was a programme that automatically split and image and done all that for you ready for print when you add the images for example if you done thor it would split the Image so his walking and his cape is flowing to the back. I know of undercoverxp that prints the slip covers but as you said very few want them I just thought with so many covers out there that this would of been a thing also. If anyone wants the template just inbox or say and if not I'll just figure something out thanks guys for your time and lovely videos on this matter means alot

That's a pretty cool video CT. It explains it well, but it looks like a lot of work and certainly more expensive to do than the usual covers. The finish product is very nice though, so probably worth the effort at the end. Hope you find what you need smokey.

Not sure on the preview. We do have a template section in the resource gallery. That would probably be the best place to put it. I'm sure CT will have the solution. :)

Since these are niche items there is no place for them in the resource gallery, and since it's highly unlikely there will ever be a demand for them... it would probably be better to just attach them to a post in this topic.

;)

Wow you guys are really good at making slipcovers, i'm still not sure if i'll keep most of my slipcovers that are just duplicates of the bluray cover. Most studios seem to be very lazy with slipcovers, like whats the point of it if you're not changing the artwork at least.
