Printing Directions For Inserts

A complete newbie here when it comes to printing, so my apologies in advance. I can't figure out the correct sizing/dimensions for a insert or correct settings before I print. The size is either too small or too large. I'm sure it's something simple I'm not getting. Even after upsizing in photoshop, the insert size is too small. I've had the best luck when printing the image as a PDF, but the back was slightly cut off.

I'm using a cannon pixma TS8220. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pity you don't know how to use Photoshop to produce Vgood covers and labels. Photoshop makes it easy to keep aspect ratio when resizing images for disc labels. How many have you had rejected because of it? Same with some covers.
Perhaps tell the user how to do it?
